The Station nightclub fire occurred in West Warwick, Rhode Island, killing 100 people and injuring 230. The fire was caused by pyrotechnics set off by the tour manager of the evening's band, which ignited plastic foam on the walls and ceiling surrounding the stage. A packaging foam that was being used by the nightclub for soundproofing. Our team of investigators spent over a month at the scene and were appointed the lead investigators for the defense by the court. T.J. Russo Consultants primary analysis related to life safety issues, codes, fuel loads, rate of flame spread and toxicity of smoke. We facilitated and assisted in the removal of more than 600 artifacts as physical evidence.
